The Golden Boot is the award given to the player that scores the most goals in a season. This isn't an award that comes with a lot of hype, unlike the Ballon D'Or, which is given to the world's best player.
Golden Boot awards are also given to the first players to reach 10, 20, and 30 goals in a season. However, in this slideshow, I will be discussing the player to get the most goals in a whole season.
Past winners of the English Premier League Golden Boot include Carlos Tevez and Dimitar Berbatov, who tied for first place last year, as they both netted 20 goals.
